Philippa is a fully qualified child and adolescent psychotherapeutic therapist.

Philippa is a fully qualified child and adolescent psychotherapeutic therapist, working with children and young people up to the age of 25. Her approach centres on creating a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood.

As an integrative practitioner, Philippa draws on both creative and talking therapies, using the arts as a powerful medium for emotional expression and transformation. Her sessions may include the use of imagery, drawing, sand tray, therapeutic play, and self-regulation techniques, all carefully tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual.

Philippa trained at the Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education, where she completed a Diploma in the Therapeutic and Educational Application of the Arts, a Diploma in Child Counselling, and an Advanced Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling, leading to registration with the UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapy). Philippa is also a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP- 406672 ).

With experience in both school and private settings, Philippa currently works in two schools in West Sussex and runs her own private practice. She has extensive experience supporting neurodiverse children and young people and is committed to working in a way that respects each child’s individual pace and personality.

Philippa’s goal is to help your child or young person build self-awareness, manage their emotions, grow in confidence, and develop the resilience they need to thrive.
