Job Summary
The Foundations Manager and Assessment Facilitator will lead and co-ordinate both the therapy and assessment services within Foundations Child Therapy. This includes overseeing therapeutic interventions for children and young people with emotional well-being needs, autism, ADHD, and related conditions, as well as managing and facilitating high-quality autism and ADHD assessments. The role combines leadership, operational management, and service co-ordination, ensuring that all services are delivered to the highest professional and ethical standards.
Job Purpose
To manage and co-ordinate therapy and assessment services, ensuring high-quality, outcome-focused, and family-centred interventions are delivered consistently. The post holder will support staff, lead service development, and maintain robust operational, safeguarding, and data protection practices across both therapy and assessment pathways.

Person Specification – Foundations Manager and Assessment Facilitator
Professional qualification (or academic equivalent) in a relevant area e.g. health, education, social care, counselling, psychology, or business.
Further training or qualifications in:
• Leadership and management
• Autism and ADHD awareness
• Safeguarding and child protection
• Service evaluation and quality improvement
• Experience of co-ordinating or facilitating autism and ADHD assessments.
• Experience of multi-agency working with schools, healthcare, and community partners.
• Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
• ICT competence including case management systems and data reporting.
• Experience of managing referral process or service appointments.
• Knowledge of children’s emotional well-being, mental health, and neurodevelopmental conditions.
• Understanding of safeguarding legislation, data protection, and information governance.
• Awareness of inclusive and family-centred service delivery.
• Knowledge of NICE guidelines and best practice in autism and ADHD assessment pathways.
• Knowledge of outcome-based commissioning.
